About ISoOR-AB

ISoOR-AB is an emerging accreditation initiative dedicated to organoid biobanking. It was established within the International Society of Organoid Research (ISoOR) to support the development of quality and consistency in this rapidly evolving field.

ISoOR-AB is being developed in alignment with ISO/IEC 17011 principles, and is designed to accredit Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) responsible for evaluating organoid biobanks against the ISoOR International Standard for Organoid Biobanking (ISoOR-ISOB).

The organization is structured with governance mechanisms intended to ensure functional independence, transparency, and impartiality in accreditation decision-making, and is in its initial implementation phase as a private accreditation framework.
