About ISoOR-AB

ISoOR-AB is the world’s first accreditation body dedicated to organoid biobanks. Established by the International Society of Organoid Research (ISoOR), it operates as a fully independent organization to ensure impartiality, transparency, and integrity in all accreditation activities.

Aligned with ISO/IEC 17011, ISoOR-AB accredits Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) responsible for evaluating organoid biobanks against the ISoOR International Standard for Organoid Biobanking (ISoOR-ISOB), supporting quality, reliability, and global consistency in the field.

ISoOR-AB functions independently from ISoOR, with its own governance structure, procedures, and decision-making processes, ensuring objective and credible accreditation outcomes.
